Vogel Tube Bending has no products of its own but strives to provide a significant technological contribution to the creation of new products. We develop products in consultation with the customer and use APQP (advanced product quality planning) as our guide in the development process, which is very similar to DFSS (design for six sigma). This cooperation leads to innovative ideas which makes it possible for us to provide our customers with cost-effective solutions. We use a multi-disciplinary approach focused on the feasibility of requests. Our engineering department uses modern 3D CAD software to translate customer-specific requirements into tools, models, machines and work methods. Our made-to-measure possibilities include a volume validation, the results of which are defined in PPAP (production, part, approval, process) documentation.

Do you only have a prototype and no drawing of the product you want to have made? Using reverse engineering, Vogel Tube Bending can easily translate a piece of prototype pipework into working drawings. The product is dimensioned by our 3D optical measuring machine and translated digitally by our CAD software into a 3D drawing model that is converted into 2D drawings. The 3D drawing model can easily be employed for the development of specific tools that are translated by the CAM software into production files for our CNC machining centre. This efficient way of working is associated with many benefits.
